中秋節快樂 Happy Mid-Autumn Festival!
As the mid-autumn festival comes, I feel that autumn is deepening. The temperature is cooling down a lot during the evenings, and the air is getting dryer. In Japan, the mid-autumn festival is a day to enjoy watching the moon quietly, and it is not particularly a super-exciting event. Since I lived in Taiwan, my perception of the festival has changed completely because for Taiwanese, it is a day to a day to enjoy BBQ with family and friends. It’s very interesting to realize that different countries and cultures have different ways of celebrating the festival.
